Shakespeare's Way with Words
As you all know, Shakespeare influenced the English language beyond all get out. He invented words, many that are still used today, and basically was a genius.
Take a look at this site. It lists the letter of the alphabet that the word starts with and takes you to the meaning. Can be very helpful if you're stuck on a word in any of his complex plays.

Shakespeare Facts
I googled Shakespeare and found some interesting sites that were devoted to facts on his life. What made these sites interesting is that they shed some light on one of the most mysterious writers ever.
*This site is titled No Sweat Shakespeare, it also lists several resources and plays.
**This site gives facts related to his plays. It mostly deals with the chronlogical order of when his plays came out, for those of you who were wondering...
***While many years of Shakespeare's life were not well-documented, this site gives a timeline of events that occurred in Shakespeare's life and also in the world.

I found this site with a great overview of all of the characters in King Lear.
And this site has an overview and different study tactics for those of you who plan on teaching it in class someday.
